Midas Luxe began at MidasTouch Studios, a salon in Birmingham. It is a separate business now, and you do not need to sit in our chair to buy the hair.

It started with what kept turning up
For more than five years the job was the same. Someone sits down, opens the bag, and we both look at what turned up. Hair that could not hold a curl. Bundles with synthetic fibre worked in between the wefts, melting the first time a wand went near them. Lace that would not even bleach on the first round, because the knots were too thick. Raw and virgin printed on packets that contained neither.
Every one of those clients had paid properly, and none of them had any way of knowing until it was already installed. Fixing an order that was wrong before it arrived became half the appointment.
Mya has been installing hair in Birmingham since 2020, with client reviews on Booksy, and you are welcome to read all of them. Being good at the install is not the whole job, though. Knowing which hair still looks like itself at month four, which supplier quietly changes their weft, and which texture will not blend with someone's own hair is what took the years.
Every texture here has been fitted on a real head before it went up for sale.
So rather than keep sending people to suppliers we did not trust, we became one. Choose the lowest effective heat setting and use a heat protectant when styling. How long the hair lasts depends on how it is worn, cared for and treated.
That is the whole of it. A short list of hair we would put in our own clients' heads, at a price we can explain, described as exactly what it is.
