The Long Game

The Long Game

Some hair arrives. This kind unfolds. Worn long and parted clean down the middle, our Virgin Body Wave moves like water finding its level — slow, deliberate, impossible to rush. It's the texture you choose when you've stopped chasing a look and started keeping one.

The texture

Virgin Body Wave is real hair in its truest state: one donor, one cuticle direction, never coloured or chemically processed. That's the weight you can see here — the wave that holds its shape through the day, the shine that reads as health rather than product. It takes heat well, takes a wash and bounces back, and only softens with age instead of fraying.

You don't style virgin hair into looking expensive. It arrives that way.

Worn long

At [24 inches] the length does the talking. We kept the part central and the wave loose — an old-Hollywood S-bend rather than a tight curl — so it frames the face and falls open across the shoulders. Espresso, not jet black: dark enough to feel polished, warm enough to catch the light.

How she's styled

Centre part, soft brush-through, a whisper of oil through the mid-lengths and nothing on the root. The finish is deliberately undone — this isn't hair that looks set, it's hair that looks lived in for exactly one good day.

Living with it

Wrap it at night, keep the heat low, and let the wave relax into its own pattern over the week. Treated gently, this is an install that looks better on day five than day one.
